How Can Hiring a Personal Trainer Help You?

Did you know there are certain exercises that are beneficial for women?

Besides the standard benefits of regular exercise, there are exercises for women that can help to improve their mental health and reduce stress.

If you are a woman and want to promote physical and mental health, check out this list of the 5 most beneficial exercises for women!

1. Leg Lifts

Leg lifts make great workouts for women. They’re an easy exercise to do and can be made more difficult for a harder workout by adding weights. This exercise works out your core, hips, and legs.

To do this exercise, lay down flat on your back with your arms flat on the floor by your sides. Stretch your legs out straight, then slowly lift one leg at a time without bending it so that your body makes an “L” shape. Lower your leg and repeat on the other side.

2. Jumping Jacks

Personal trainers love jumping jacks because they’re a great full-body workout and help people to reach their fitness goals. This exercise is easy and can be done anywhere, making it easy for anyone to add to their workout routine.

To do this exercise, start by standing up with your arms by your side. Next, jump while lifting your arms over your head and spreading your legs, creating an “X” with your body. Jump again, returning your arms to your side and closing your legs.

3. Side Planks

Side planks are a great way to work out your core muscles. Fitness experts will tell you that this is a great way to work out your abs, arms, and legs.

To do a side plank, lean on your elbow and forearm while balancing your weight on the sides of your feet. Lif your butt off of the ground, creating a straight line. Hold the position to complete the workout.

4. Bridge

Bridges are great exercises for the hips, glutes, and core. This is an easy exercise that anyone can do. You can make the exercise more difficult by adding weights as well.

To do this exercise, lay on your back with your knees up. Lift your butt until your body is in a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Make sure to engage your glutes and core for the best success!

5. Squats

Squats make great hip exercises for women and can help to strengthen the core as well. They are easy to do, and can also be made into more of a challenge with added weights.

To do squats, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and squat into a sitting position by bending your legs. Stand up straight and repeat.
